Artist Statement

The objects and environments that I create are fueled by encounters with natural forces. These memories fill my dreams, incorporating emotional associations and metaphors. Inspired by these encounters and reflections, unique forms are generated through the manipulation of synthetic materials. These forms accumulate to engulf the viewer in an experience that is simultaneously unsettling and serene. My intent is to remind us of our relationship and scale to the forces of nature.
